This was the drawing that revealed the redesign of the main cast in 2016. This coincides with the Wausau and Jackson Adventures announcement, and these designs would be tweaked and modernized for the comic strip as it is known today.

Did you know Jackson used to have his own Twitter (now called X) account? Yep, and this was the icon he used in 2017. The account is since defunct, however.

As an experiment, the cartoonist drew Jackson as a 1930's rubberhose-style character. This design was never used, however.
This is the icon that was used when the 2018 comic strip launched in August of 2018.
Wausau and Jackson decided to dress up as the Grinch and Max (from How the Grinch Stole Christmas!) to celebrate Christmas in 2018.
As another experiment, the cartoonist drew Jackson and colored him based on SEGA artist Yuji Uekawa's shading style. This coloring style was only ever used in a comic strip one time, that being the first panel of comic #61 "Grinding."
The logo used for the 2019 April Fool's comic (#33) "Steveday."
This is an updated banner used to advertise the comic strip (hence the "New Comics Every Monday!" tagline) in the year 2019.
The cartoonist took a break for a month in January 2020 from drawing the comic strip, so this image is what was released instead.
To advertise the comic strip in 2021, this new banner was created with the most up-to-date designs for the characters.
Tapas.io added a requirement that comic strips need a book cover-style photo to advertise comics on their site, so this was created to meet that requirement.
This is the icon that was added for the comic strip in 2021 and is still used to represent the comic strip today.
